An ode to the old carnival fortune telling machine, and an attempt at connecting with another dimension. The ornate box contains a pulse hologram of a Gate Keeper. The image only appears once the participant places their hand in the exact position of the fortune tellers hands, so that it looks as if she is holding your hands. The door knob gear shift, entices the participant to activate the piece. Bicycle wheels and galaxy projection, spin when image is active, adding to the sense of motion and being pulled in to the hologram. The glasses on the fortune teller are made of diffraction gratings.
